Fahey Certification Pty Ltd is an independent residential building certification consultancy serving the greater Newcastle region, Sydney and everywhere in between, focused on simplifying the approval process for builders, designers, developers and homeowners.
The consultancy services the residential construction sector: new dwellings, alterations and additions, dual occupancies, townhouses, swimming pools and low-rise development. The model is deliberately boutique. Clients deal directly with the registered certifier throughout the approval and construction process, which keeps accountability, consistency and communication clear.
It is built to combine the responsiveness of a large firm with the direct relationship of a small one. Modern digital systems carry the administration, so the certifier’s time goes to assessing accurately, advising practically, and determining applications without avoidable delay.
The practice is also independent. The certifier is engaged by the owner and acts in the public interest, never as the builder’s agent. That independence is the foundation the rest of the service is built on.
